À la base, il y a un tandem formé par le batteur Quentin et le guitariste Léo, deux artistes s’étant découvert des affinités
pour le death Metal. Ce tandem fut vite rejoint au chant par Seb et à la basse par Guillaume.
Samanum est un groupe de death metal fondé en 2014.
Les morceaux parlent en majeur partie des maladies mésopotamiennes provoquées par le démon Samanum et de sexe.
